Here are the steps for how to turn off your LinkedIn notifications.
1) Once you’re logged into your LinkedIn account, open the settings page by hovering over your photo in the upper right corner, click ‘manage’, to the right of ‘Privacy & Settings’.
2) Select ‘Turn on/off your activity broadcast’
3) By checking the box, any changes made to your profile will notify your connections. Keeping the box unchecked will stop those types of notifications.
Put a reminder on your Calendar to Turn your Notifications back on after you have finished the bulk of your revisions to your Profile. Having your notifications on is good when you have occasional updates, when you connect to new people, when you join new groups, etc.
