How to do a LinkedIn Endorsement Campaign
Endorsements impact the greatly impact your LinkedIn SEO, and Endorsements from people in your industry or field can have an even greater impact on LinkedIn SEO.
You will naturally get LinkedIn Endorsements over time because LinkedIn asks viewers of your Profile if they would like to Endorse you.
And, once someone has endorsed a colleague, they are asked if they’d like to endorse others.
In this list that comes up to ask if they would like to endorse others, LinkedIn pulls the top skills in their Skills Section first, so that’s why you will get more endorsements for your top Skills than the ones lower in the list.
Beyond this automatic endorsement process, it’s smart to do an Endorsement Campaign to get more Endorsements. You can do that by sending an email to colleagues who are first tier connections and who are familiar with your work and asking them to endorse you or by sending a LinkedIn message.
If you send an email, be sure to include a link to your LinkedIn Profile to make it easy for your colleagues to access your Profile.
Below is an example of an Endorsement Campaign email that you can copy and modify for your own LinkedIn Endorsement Campaign.

I recently moved some of my skills around, so some of the skills at the top do not have over 99 endorsements.
I particularly need Endorsements for these skills:

Thank you in advance for assisting me in this effort. And please let me know if there’s anything I can do for you.
