I worked with Katie from Donna Schilder Coaching / Glacier Point Solutions for over a year and would recommend them to anyone looking for a leadership coach. Katie is very good at making me think in the ways that I don’t want to think but need to. She is very receptive with all things I would like to speak about, and when I am not sure she always gives me ideas on what we can talk about. We’ve worked on:

– Clarifying my goals and focusing on the ones that would move me forward
– Team motivation strategies
– How to let go of high expectations during challenging times
– Communication strategies
– How to manage overwhelm
– How to put a routine that works for me in place

Standing at a pivotal juncture in my leadership journey can be both intimidating and bewildering, yet it’s equally invigorating and inspiring. I found myself at such a juncture last year when I embarked on a leadership coaching journey with Katie of Donna Schilder Coaching / Glacier Point Solutions.

Katie has been integral in helping me to define and redefine goals, develop clear objectives, and recognize and develop skill opportunities and then holds me accountable to achieve all of the above. She also helps me explore opportunities that may be curtailing my growth potential.

My coach helps me to examine a range of interpersonal relationships that I have at work and how to manage them more effectively. She holds me accountable for learning, executing, and paying it forward to my leaders. Additionally, she aids me in breaking free from self-imposed limitations and in diagnosing areas where I can take action.

Katie is a great sounding board and helps me to fully explore the challenges that I face. She provides me with a confidential space to speak about challenges I am having, listens, empowers me to shape my direction, and reminds me that each step has a purpose and it takes the brain time to adjust to this new way of thinking and coaching.

Katie supports me (without having an opinion!) in assessing and taking calculated risks, as needed, making difficult decisions, and doing the “right” over the “easy” thing. She also helps me to reflect and acknowledge difficulties and reflect successes back to me. And she continues to ask questions that help me consider many angles and think ahead to plan for the future.
